Imagine thousands of young people coming together in multiple locations simultaneously to tackle the big challenges of these times (such as climate change, poverty, energy, water, food, wildlife) & create positive social change.
Youth Leading the World (YLTW) is a bold initiative from OzGreen.
OzGreen trains & supports people to run YLTW in there own region. Youth become informed about global challenges; innovate action plans to tackle these challenges and connect with change-makers locally & globally.
There are 3 key parts of the campaign. Youth change-makers will:
1. innovate change action plans during the 3 day YLTW congresses running simultaneously in over 20 locations throughout Australia 3-5 September;
2. Implement their change ideas during the National Change-makers Festival in early November;
3. Come together in Sydney 26-28 November for a National Summit to share success stories and challenges. Plan how to extend the reach of YLTW to 700 regions across Australia and globally.
