The Bagabonds

All funds raised will go directly to our 2011 trip, Ohio to Colorado.
The Pick Up Artists are a diverse and talented group. We are sculptors, musicians, photographers, videographers, and actors. We have degrees ranging from journalism to marketing to environmental science and policy. We are from all over the United States. It is our passion for this project, this movement, unifying us, propelling us forward.
We all participate in Pick Up America as volunteers – performing the physically and emotionally grueling task of roadside trash cleanups while also maximizing our skills to develop energetic and compelling zero waste programming. We do all of this while also constantly struggling to pay for food and basic expenses.
So we humbly ask for $5,000 in support, enough to pay for our food, phones, and health insurance for the first two months of our trip. Obviously, we have many other expenses and a much larger total fundraising goal, but we’re such a small operation that every dollar truly makes a difference. Thank you for considering us.
