JOIN US AT REGROWTH 2014
RE-GEN are once again proud to present the
Regrowth Festival, now in its 9th year at a stunning property 3.5 hrs south of Sydney, 6.5hrs from Melbourne and 1 hr from Canberra.
We are excited to be moving back into the warmer days of late summer time and regenerating a new festival site. Lush camping, bush walking, and a picturesque vista will treat the senses.
Encompassing 4 magical days of music, art, performance, workshops, cinema, markets, healing and of course tree planting - it is time to get your holidays in order for the 28th of February - 3rd of March 2014.
3 diverse stages of music will showcase a wide range of international, interstate and local artists including a massive line up of bands, live electronic acts and DJs. Visit www.re-gen.org.au for the latest line up announcements.
READ ENOUGH?
If you’ve read enough or you know all about Regrowth already just go straight to the right-hand column and select a support level.
The only place you can currently buy Tier 3 tickets for Regrowth 2014 is this crowdfunding campaign. When tickets go back on-sale on our website they will be Tier 4 tickets and at a higher price.
We ask that if possible you choose a level of support that includes a contribution towards the Tree Fund, which will help us cover the costs of the tree planting activities at the festival.

How our Regrowth is Unique
The Regrowth Festival is an environmentally sustainable event using 100% renewable energy, composting toilets, maximising recycling and composting of waste, environmentally themed workshops, as well as a range of other measures
to reduce the ecological footprint of the festival and its patrons. Central to this is the restoration of a degraded area of the festival site through large scale revegetation works where a mass volunteer tree planting effort will add to the 60,000 trees already
planted at REGEN events. We were very happy to have our efforts recognised at the last Regrowth Festival by achieving a “Highly Commended” award from the independent and internationally recognized “Greener Festival Award”. Learn more by visiting our Sustainability
and Tree Planting pages.
THE REGROWTH FESTIVAL IS A SUSTAINABLE EVENT THAT AIMS TO HAVE A POSITIVE IMPACT ON OUR BEAUTIFUL PLANET.
RE-GEN recognises that running the Regrowth Festival has a direct impact (both positive and negative) on the environment. We believe that we have a responsibility to care for and protect the environment in which we operate and
are committed to enhancing it through our operations wherever possible, and minimising any negative impact. We are very passionate about running a sustainable event and providing a framework for how the greater community can reduce our environmental footprint.
You can read more about our approach to power, waste management, transport, water management, noise and fair trade on our website, along with our a comprehensive Environmental policy and Environmental Management Plan if you’re
curious.
60,000 TREES PLANTED AT RE-GEN EVENTS.... AND COUNTING!
An integral part of the Regrowth Festival is the revegetation project. The simple act of planting a tree has a positive impact on both the Earth and the tree planter. For many, the Regrowth Festival is the first opportunity
they have ever had to contribute to the environment in this way and can have lasting effects of re-connecting and awareness raising.
RE-GEN and festival attendees have successfully rehabilitated areas of degraded land at three previous sites over the past 9 years through planting of a grand total of 60,000 trees. We are excited to add further native plants
to this tally and continue to assist the rehabilitation of the Austrialia flora and fauna,
but we need your help.
Tree planting is a significant additional cost for the festival but something we really believe is of vital importance. It connects festival-goers to nature and inspires a sense of responsibility to tread lightly and give back.
It absorbs carbon, balancing the carbon costs of all of us attending the Festival (although we encourage you to also offset your personal carbon usage).
So we’re asking for contributions towards this aspect of the festival, and offering great rewards to those who support this work.
