Hello thank you for looking at my campaign! I was accepted as a fellow to the Dell Summer Social Innovation Lab, where I will be working
on my social business ConstruCycle (www.construcycle.com). There
were around 1,800 applicants from all over the world, and I am extremely grateful because I am 1 of the 19 fellows who were selected to attend. I received a scholarship (worth $4,995 usd) to cover living expenses and the expenses of the program, but my plane
ticket is not included.
I am doing a crowdfunding campaign to help me raise funds to cover my travel expenses.
The Summer Lab is the perfect opportunity to meet, engage, and create synergy with some of the most brilliant and highly moral individuals in the world! Learning from others experiences, cultures and their view
of the world, can help me grow as a person, and make me have a wide and unique perspective, that will support me in my path to serve others. I am very interested in joining forces with other classmates to bring joint solutions to help solve social issues in
our communities, and hopefully attract a talented person to join my team at ConstruCycle, or any of the other projects I am working on.
Attending the Summer Lab is the dream opportunity to help me get in touch with professionals with a lot of experience in the social entrepreneurship field, whom can teach me
a lot. They can also help me to get in contact with organizations or individuals that may be able to support my social business, particularly with funding and partnerships. It is also the perfect opportunity to learn invaluable skills about running a social
business, working with communities, fundraising, and promoting my project, especially through social media.
I will be working mostly on my social business ConstruCycle (www.construcycle.com) which is developing low cost housing for citizens at the bottom of the pyramid from reycled materials.
