What we do
The GetBack Foundation provides free GetBack Mentor Certifications in schools for teachers, parents, counselors, etc. In these trainings we teach an easy, safe and efficient system of physical and mental
health exercises. As GetBack Mentors, education professionals and parents will use 2-5 minute GetBack Sessions in their normal daily routines with the children, whenever they recognize the need.
These GetBack Sessions will help increase mental comprehension, physical fitness and balance. This naturally eliminates stress and anxiety and helps our children GetBack to their natural happy state.
Why we do what we do
I'm sure you have seen the reports:
More and more children are diagnosed with severe health conditions like back pain, obesity, stress, diabetes, most of which are avoidable or reversible.
We all need to overcome our genetic inheritance, which makes us feel good when we do not move, consume too many calories and live a lazy life. This behavior was necessary when our ancestors lived in the
wild and didn't know when they would hunt their next meal, but nowadays this system doesn't help us to survive, it makes us sick and inevitably die sooner (through heart attacks, diabetes, etc.).
We need external motivation
That is why we need to establish an external motivation, which forces us to move and create healthier habits. Our school system is the ideal place for this, since the children spend most of their days
there anyway.
Through constant repetition of the GetBack Sessions in school, the children will learn proper exercises to keep their body and mind strong and healthy. The routine will become deeply ingrained in their
mind so it will become natural for them to perform these exercises whenever they feel the need for it.

sleep, less back pain and some students overcame their anxiety of tests and even eating disorders. The parents and teachers noticed an strong increase of concentration, which resulted in better test scores. But the schools were dependent on us to actually
teach the children.
