Fall Semester
GACS Fall semester is off to a great start and the students are already filling their minds with knowledge that will help them for a lifetime. Without your support, they would not otherwise have that opportunity due to extreme poverty and lack of access
to schools. So, we want to raise funds so they can finish out the semester with all the resources and support they need!
Funds for GACS (Golman African Children's School)!
Our Fall Fundraising effort is in full swing and now to make it easy we are giving crowdfunding a try!
-We need to raise $3500 for our Fall semester!
-Just $70 will educate and feed 1 child for an entire year!
How the funds are used:
TRUE Action uses 100% of the funds raised toward the actual education of our GACS students.
-Since 2008 TRUE Action has been supporting GACS.
-TRUE Action is an all volunteer non-profit so none of the funds are used for administrative overhead.
-Over 500 students have been served in area with no access to education.
-We currently support 138 students and 6 teachers at a 9 room school house in Jinja, Uganda.
-Each student is provided with a school uniform, fed once a day and given a quality education that lasts a lifetime.
