We are an association based in Madagascar working for community development. The name of the association is AKANY FAHASOAVANA. For this project, we will focus on combating corruption.
Corruption has become a paradigm in developing countries. In other words, it has become a standard in communities. Even mothers tell the next generation that without corruption, we can’t do anything. If you are standing against corruption, you are standing alone. We want to break that chain, we want to break that paradigm by spreading the word: CORRUPTION IS NOT A MUST.
In French, the title of the project would be: “Je ne suis pas la corruption”, meaning, “I don’t follow corruption” or “I am against corruption”. This title has a connotation with another campaign which was meant to not defend a “certain” cause.
Basically, the project would consist in a competition. Competitors will eventually _ if we raise enough money _ produce a short video of 4 minutes long campaigning against corruption. The main message of the project is to point out that corruption is a bad thing for everyone. That way, the paradigm is cut. Videos will be published in the facebook page of the organization (AKANY FAHASOAVANA) and the most shared video will win the prize. The money raised here will constitute the prize.
