About This Project

Atlantic County New Jersey has the highest foreclosure rate in the country, leaving many people unable to feed themselves or their pets. The Pet Pantry, a 501 (3) (C) sponsored by Absecon Veterinary Hospital opened in April 2015 inside the Community FoodBank of NJ. Since then over 30,000 lbs. of pet food have been collected. That food has been distributed to nearly 5,000 families with pets. Our goal is to make sure no pets go hungry or have to be abandoned.

Use Of Funds

$1,000 Tipping Point Goal

We will stock the Pet Pantry with enough pet food to hopefully last through the spring.

$2,000 Stretch Goal

We will apply for grants that will go towards the Pet Pantry, and purchase more food.
