Our project is to start interactive modules at Schuman-Liles Mental Health Clinic, and hopefully later expand to Berkeley and San Jose free clinics. The modules will be in the waiting room of the clinic and will cover areas such as mental health (depression, schizophrenia), heart disease, eye health, diabetes, obesity, and high cholesterol. These modules include educational material and short quizzes to help patients learn while they are waiting at our partner clinics. This is our pilot project and we are hoping to expand later. For now we are hoping to have about 4 iPads in the clinic and need to hire a designer for a couple thousand dollars. With the money you pledge you can help educate patients at our free clinics and give them the power to take their health into their own hand.
