WHAT ARE WE DOING
We are conscious citizens of the world. We stand with the farmers of India on their path to peacefully protest for their rights. For Valentines Day this year, we thought it best to send some love to the farmers in India. While we cannot be with them physically right now, we'd like them to know that the world salutes their spirit. That the world appreciates their struggle and wants to send a token of that appreciation in the form of a rose. We are also adding personalized message cards to these flowers.
WHY ARE WE DOING THIS
The farmers of India have been sitting on the outskirts of Delhi borders to ask for their rights since 70+ days. They are asking the government to take back the anti-farming laws that it passed undemocratically. Their struggle should not go unheard and this gesture is a small addition to the efforts of so many concerned citizens all over the globe.
HOW WILL WE USE THE FUNDS
We have friends and allies on the ground in Delhi and nearby locations to execute the 'A rose for every farmer' project. They will buy the flowers in India, organize your personal messages and distribute them at the major protest sites - Gazipur, Tikri and Singhu.
