About This Project

The small village of Bandanpally (population 1033) is located in Andhra Pradesh, India.

Bandanpally

Part of what the people there need is access to clean water. Therefore, this project will raise money for three important wells. This will have a number of positive impacts on the community, including:

· Improved health

· Increased agricultural production

· More time that women can spend caring for their families (instead of fetching water far away)

· More time that children can spend studying (instead of fetching water far away)

Access to clean water is something we take for granted, but it can make a life-changing difference for those in need.

Reaching Our Tipping Point:


$800 will enable us to build one well in the village.





Reaching Our Goal:


$2400 will enable us to build three wells in the village, providing much-needed water for Bandanpally.

Exceeding Our Goal:


While water is a major need in Bandanpally, it is not the only need. Funds above $2400 will be put toward the other projects that thisvillage has planned in Bandanpally. These include literacy training, toilets, care for widows and orphans, school supplies,
and so on.
