trafficking. A story of a manufacturer that cares holistically for their employees’ wellbeing, allowing them to save enough for an education. A story of restoring our world's natural beauty by reclaiming, repurposing and reinventing materials that would normally
go into landfills. Imagine the potential for your wardrobe to do good. Now imagine if everyone's wardrobe was just as amazing. This idea is at the heart of what we call “Impact Fashion”.

Thread Harvest is a fashion company that sits at the intersection of style, sustainability and social impact.
It will be a one-stop-shop selling a wide range of the most inspiring men’s & women’s clothing, accessories and footwear from Australia and around the world each with a compelling story of social and/or environmental impact.
Our products are curated based on four key elements – style, impact, cost and quality – and we firmly believe that pursuing any one of those should not come at the expense of the others. Rather, we search for the labels that are able to blend all of these
elements into a product that is beautiful inside and out, from production all the way to your doorstep.

Initially we will be stocking over 75 products from 6 different labels and are already working on adding more. You contribution will allow us to further our reach and build relationships with more labels doing great things, not to mention bringing you more
great products with amazing stories of impact.

- Article 22 - Beautiful jewellery handcrafted from reclaimed Vietnam War era bombs by Laotian artisans. Each sale further funds the demining of more bomb-littered land.
- Indosole – Shoes made from repurposed tyres and traditional methods of dyeing, involving natural materials and no electricity whatsoever. These are soles with soul.
- Oliberte – Premium quality leather-goods and footwear made from the world’s first Fair Trade certified shoe factory. This company is pioneering a new picture of Africa one of empowerment and fine design.
- Threads 4 Thought – An apparel company committed to using sustainable materials and innovative manufacturing processes that are at the cutting edge of social and environmental sustainability.
- Raven + Lily – A socially conscious lifestyle dedicated to empowering women through design. They do amazing work with marginalised women spanning 5 countries across 3 continents, making beautiful apparel, jewellery and gifts.
- The Giving Keys – The Giving Keys employ people looking to transition out of homelessness, whilst spreading a message of love, courage and strength through their beautifully designed necklaces.
We already have more amazing labels just like these in the pipeline, and your contribution would go a long way towards reaching our vision for the platform.

More than just a store
Whilst Thread Harvest will initially be an online store, our vision for what it could be is much, much bigger. We see Thread Harvest and impact fashion becoming a true force in transforming the fashion industry into one that is characterised by higher virtues
of respect, beauty and
empathy.
We see a fashion industry in which workers' lives, all the way down the supply chain, are enriched and a natural environment that is nourished and supported by the production of clothing, rather than abused and neglected. We see this change being driven
by consumers who seek more from their fashion choices; consumers who want their clothes to reflect their care for people and the environment.
To this end, we want to make Thread Harvest and impact fashion become as accessible for as many people as we can. Whether that will be through bricks & mortar stores in every major city, widespread distribution of our partner labels across Australia or creating
our own label making beautiful clothing without compromising on people & planet, we are not yet certain. What we do know for certain is that we have a big vision in mind, and the big vision is what will keep our small steps on the right path.
In the immediate future, we are already committed to making our website more than just a store. Our goal is for customers to feel like a visit to Thread Harvest is nourishing for the mind, refreshing for the soul, and stirs our hands and feet towards action.
We want the whole shopping experience to be one that is engaging, educational, encouraging, and meaningful – a place where you can be inspired and informed.

Your contribution would really help take Thread Harvest to the next level. We’ve been working hard and are close to soft-launching our online store in the coming weeks. Our plan for the next six months involves the following:
- Completing our website with a soft-launch in September.
- Engaging and bringing 10-15 more labels onto the platform.
- Developing and implementing a system for social impact measurement & reporting.
- Growing the business through various marketing channels and organic growth.
