Have you ever dreamed of a space for community to connect and create a better future together? Now is your opportunity to make it happen at the Joinery!
It will be here that our community will be able to show, share and live the positive change we all want.
South Australia's peak environmental organisation Conservation SA is establishing a new community environment space in the heart of Adelaide.
To start with we need to transform the site (you may know it as the old bus station at 111 Franklin Street near the Central Markets).
We need your help to create a lush and productive oasis in the centre of the city.
Would you be able to chip in for:
- Plants and garden materials for the native and food producing gardens
- Nature Play areas for children (and the young at heart)
- Outdoor classrooms and workshop areas
- Chooks
- Water tanks
- Solar panels
- Even maybe a bee hive
All of these will be here for you, your friends and family to come and enjoy, any day of the week.
Even better, they will be an example for everyone else in the community to see and say "I could do that at home." That is what creating a better future is all about.
The idea for the Joinery has always been for community, by community—it needs everyone to help create it.
Does the vision of the Joinery resonate with you? If the answer is yes, then now is the time to show it by donating.
