WHO ARE THE GOOD EGGS?
The Good Eggs Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to helping children in the areas of education and basic needs. The Foundation grew out of of the popular children's book series, The Good Eggs, which teaches young children about the importance of Virtues, Diversity, and Service.
WHAT IS THIS PROJECT ALL ABOUT?
Currently, The Good Eggs Foundation is on a mission to get the children's books turned into an animated film series. We are working on animating Book 1, The Good Eggs, which has 12 chapters. This project will cover 6 of those chapters. Each chapter will be a separate film, 2-3 minutes long, each one costing $3,000 (animation is amazing, but costly!) The books follow a school year, so we will be releasing the films on a monthly basis (uploading to an internet platform), starting with September 2020, highlighting the virtue of Understanding. These first 6 films will run through February, 2021.
WHY ANIMATE?
Kids are watching short films at a growing rate. These animated films will help young children get a visual effect of the lessons and adventures of the Eggs. Learning Virtues, Diversity, and Service at a young age will automatically become part of their character as they continue to grow into good adults. Cultivating goodness is necessary in our world - goodness turns into kindness, compassion, generosity, and all things positive. The impact and progression of goodness and positivity will continue for generations. This message and mission of love is needed in our world now more than ever. Together, let's make it happen!
WHO'S ON OUR TEAM?
The Board of Directors for the Foundation is "EGGcited" for this important project! We are working with a local animator and production company, writing scripts, and collecting character voices. We even have a theme song ready to go. Click the link below to listen!
