- What are we doing
Sport 4 All is an initiative to help financially struggling young people to participate in sports activities by sponsoring them in various sports held in Parramatta local government area. Sports 4 All will organise sports sessions of games like Footy, Volleyball, basketball etc which will also involve the already established local teams for overall community participation. We would also like to include swimming classes for adults.
We will seek participation from community outreach by various clubs to mentor and promote sports to disadvantaged youth.
- Why are we doing it
Young people are experiencing the most hardship during this time due to Covid - 19; that includes those that are disproportionately affected due to their race, visa status, education, language/cultural barriers, lack of family support, financial standing, mental well-being or otherwise.
Sports 4 All will provide assistance to all these people to help them get more involved in community sports which will provide a sense of Australian sporting culture and values. We will provide free sports equipment, clothing and no fees participation.
- Our team
Turbans 4 Australia has been helping communities strive for the better since our humble beginning in 2015, we have successfully delivered many projects such as Sydney to Coonamble Hay run for drought affected farmers, Grocery donation drives to regional towns, Bushfire campaign in South and North coast of NSW delivering truckloads of drinking water, groceries and hand tools, currently Covid Crisis Relief centres in NSW( Liverpool, Harris Park, Wollongong, Queanbeyan), Canberra, Gold Coast, Brisbane and Melbourne. We also provide homeless meals and organise multicultural events.
