What we strive for is simple: a more sustainable future.
With the all decisive UN Climate Change Conference in Paris coming up in December 2015, we believe it is necessary to deliver our world leaders a clear global message: take serious climate action. Reduce
global warming. And DO IT NOW.
Sing For The Climate is an idea of Nic Balthazar (a renowned Belgian film maker), 11.11.11 (Union of Belgian North-South Organisations) and The Belgian Climate Coalition. It is made possible by the goodwill of many volunteers.
Sing For the Climate is a worldwide singing manifestation. More powerful than a petition, and more accessible and positive than a demonstration. It is a unique opportunity for people from all over the world to let their voices be heard.
People from Belgium to Brazil, from the United States to Cambodia. People from everywhere.

In the end, we'll make one powerful music video to unite all the voices and to deliver this clear message to world leaders.
THE RESULTS?
In 2012 Sing For The Climate was organised in Belgium: 300.000 people sang 'Do it now'. We made a clip that united all the voices. This clip was shown to the Belgian Prime Minister; Elio Di Ruppo, the State Secretary of Environment; Melchior Wathelet, the
Flemish Minister of Environment; Joke Schauvlieghe and the Minister of Environment in the European Federal Parlament; Evelyne Huytebroeck.
All the above signed the demands of the Campaign for the Climate and therefor committed themselves to take necessary measures.
Now we want to take this action to a next level: we want to make it go worldwide.
Because this is a worldwide problem, and because the Climate Conference in Paris this year will be a moment of truth. We really want to unite as many voices as possible. Let
world leaders know, hear and feel that citizens urge serious measures.
Therefore we basically need 5000 euro, to make a compelling website and video to spread the word.
