About This Project

Some have, while others have almost nothing. This is not a secret anymore.

I am Dan Ciopei, a social entrepreneur from Romania who dreams of creating something good for the community, that may last forever. I have always looked for ways to shape smiles in others` hearts and in time I realized there are ways of doing it on a bigger scale.

College has been about Management and Marketing, followed by a Master’s Degree in Strategic Business Management. My vigorous work in the field of Commerce helped me learn from the best. Precisely, I take Business just as serious as a doctor takes his patients,
a reference quality when you want to be the best.

Now I want to gather the best of me and the least of you into a project designed to change lives. My desire of getting involved somehow in balancing the world also led me to think about the disadvantaged people. What would offer them the chance for a better life?

My project is about building

Wash4Good

the first Social Self-Service Car Wash

that empowers communities.

A Social Business is meant to be an active partner for those in real need and to also inspire other entrepreneurs to give something back to the communities where they develop their businesses. All this, with minimal efforts.

So, I designed a Social Business project which will always give something, in at least two different ways:

1. Employment for disadvantaged people

2. Profit intended for social causes

Our first Car Wash station would be located in Bucharest, one of the top capital cities where the traffic is well-known as heavy. Since the location is near downtown, we will definitely give drivers more time and money by keeping close to them. Also, the impact in society is best when we inspire others to serve the needs.

By daily serving community with active social benefits, we would like to reach other cities as well, and why not, for the longer-term, to become an international social action, ready to offer help where is needed.

Why is Wash4Good a Social Project?

What does it offer?

1) Donations - a minimum of 25% of all the net profits generated by Wash4Good will be donated to social causes. We will work closely with our NGO partners and the results and donations will be regularly made public on our:

website, Facebook and Twitter pages.

It’s like for every service one pays at Wash4Good, a portion goes to people in need. Cute, isn’t it?

2) Creating jobs for the disadvantaged ones – even though there’s an automated system, it is recommended for Every Self Service Car Wash to have employees who supervise and give a helping hand at the station. For these jobs we plan to recruit disadvantaged people who have no job or maybe not even a place to stay. We know how difficult it is to get social affiliation or membership, therefore these jobs are intended for them. The less lucky ones we support.

3) Progressive donations - as Wash4Good will expand, the donated value will constantly increase, in order to reach >50% of its net profit.

Estimations say that 10x Wash4Good Car Wash stations will be able to create joy as an impact for the lives of 50 to 150 disadvantaged people, which could start living better days.

This idea empowers us to hope and work hard for. It is simple and efficient.

Wash4Good social project will give multiple advantages to all:

1. Community/customers:

- will receive quality services for a low price;

- will not only be our customers, but will also be our partners in supporting our community; because there is a hero in each of us

- the whole community will grow happier once more people will help each other through donations or simply washing their cars at our stations.

2. Disadvantaged people:

- orphan children need access to education, health services and to a protecting family; homeless people should get new chances of social integration and life improvement;

people with complicated medical conditions need better care and technology;

All of these people could be any of us.

But we had luck somehow and feel responsible to share it.

3. Local authorities:

- direct and non-direct tax revenues will increase due to Wash4Good existence (beside our taxes, ex-disadvantaged people will also pay theirs leading to higher public social budgets).

We will be a trusting pillar for our authorities to accomplish the common aim – a more reliable society.

For each donation - which will be finalized if the campaign reaches the milestone, the sponsor will receive unique rewards. If your reward is not applicable, please feel free to send a message on our Facebook page or to contact the Project Creator via WhatsApp on the phone number displayed at the end of this page.

All of the rewards will be applied after the end of the campaign and ONLY if the campaign will reach its minimum financial objective. Otherwise, as you know, your pledge and the project itself will be cancelled (also the rewards).

You can choose from 9 levels of rewards for your contribution, as described below.

Level 1 - "The Contributor" minimum donation 20 EUR:

- You will receive a public "Thank you!" on Facebook/Twitter/LinkedIn posts plus a lot of gratitude (to be made during first week after the end of campaign);

- Your name/company logo will be laser engraved on a permanent list "This social project is now empowering your community with their help:" which will be displayed on one of Car Wash station's walls (it will stay posted for life) as a sign of gratitude for all our contributors.

Level 2 - "The Brave" minimum donation 50 EUR:

- Your name/company logo will be written on a permanent "Our sponsors" website list (it will be forever available at www.wash4good.com section Partners);

- You will be tagged on a special Facebook "Thank you for your contribution" pre-launch post (will be made one week before the grand opening);

- You will receive 20 FREE coins to use any time in the Car Wash for you or your friends;

- You will receive a personal "Thank you" email written and sent by the Project Creator;

+ PREVIOUS LEVEL REWARDS.

Level 3 - "The Captain" minimum donation 100 EUR:

- You will get a T-shirt with Splash (our mascot), delivered personally by the Project Creator in Bucharest or by postal mail for other cities/countries;

- You will be mentioned on a special Facebook pre-launch post (will be made one week before the grand opening);

- You will receive a 2-person invitation to a volunteering car-washing session of 4-to-8h out of a "10 days volunteering action" in the Car Wash station where we will wash cars together to raise money for school tools for children living in poverty; you will choose the desired time interval (+video and pictures included);
