WHAT IS ONE CAUCASUS?
One Caucasus is a festival and a longterm borderland project for safe and inspirational space for young people from the Caucasus. It takes place in the Marneuli districit of Georgia, near the borders of Armenia and Azerbaijan,
where many ethnic and religious groups have lived in peace for many years. Young people of the Caucasus region to gather and enjoy co-creating with musicians, artists, animators, and architects from the Caucasus and all over the world.
One Caucasus volunteers go to villages of the Marneuli region and conduct music and art workshops within the local communities, who help us co-create the Festival.
This year One Caucasus is involved in the first ever Participatory Budget to be held in Georgia. Citizens of the Marneuli district will participate in making decisions on governmental budgets that directly effect their local communities.

1) One Caucasus Festival: August 27-29, in Tserakvi!
A) Main Stage
For the three festival days, the One Caucasus Main Stage will host new international music projects, including:
*** WARSAW HORNS (Poland) and NATURAL BORN LOVERS (Georgia) and SHOTA ADAMASHVILI (Georgia)
*** MAMADOU DIOUF (Senegal/Poland) and THE MARNELI BAND (Georgia)
*** PAKO SARR (Senegal) and theNew Caucasus Project (Armenia/Azerbaijan/Georgia)
B) One Caucasus Town Activities
In the One Caucasus Town various interdisciplinary activities will take place, including:
*** Open Citizen Council of Marneuli - a gathering of residents from the whole region of Marneuli will decide on the first participatory budget ever in the entire Caucasus. Read more about the
