A Voice For The Innocent is an organization to allow people to share their stories of sexual abuse and rape to a listening ear who won't judge them and will still allow them to be as anonymous as they choose to be. There
are far too many people who are out there suffering or holding in their own horrific stories for fear of judgment or shame. These people need to know that they have self worth. They aren't dirty. They aren't unfit for positive, functioning relationships. And
they certainly aren't alone.
With the funds raised through this campaign, we aim to formalize A Voice for the Innocent by registering as a 501(c)3 organization, printing marketing materials to spread the word about the organization, and building an online
support community. The website will include access to free or discounted counseling services, information about local law enforcement, and a list of phone numbers and websites to further help those who need it. We will also provide statistics to help inform
people of this extremely prevalent problem and hope that they can then educate those around them.
We will also be hosting local events in our hometown of Cincinnati, OH and really trying to get our name and cause out into the communities. Once we make a strong presence locally, we hope to begin growing throughout the
region and the rest of the country. When people start talking, this is when true change can actually happen. As a victim myself, it is extremely important to me to hear the raised voices of these people. I want to turn ashamed victims into proud survivors.

$1,000 Tipping Point Goal
The website development is being generously donated to us. So, when I reach my tipping point of $1,000, I will be able to:
- File for my 510(c)3 and become a legitimate non-profit organization and recognized by the IRS. ($150)
-Start getting literature printed. This will serve as free information to the public at our events. ($350)
- Start printing merchandise (tee-shirts, cause bracelets, buttons, stickers, etc). These will not only help us spread the word through free advertisements, but will help in funding our future endeavors. ($500 for 100 shirts)
When I reach my total goal, I will not only be able to take the aforementioned steps, I will also be able to:
- Begin viral advertising and marketing. Getting traffic to our site helps spread the word and helps the organization grow.
- Use money to sustain the life of our merchandise line and stock up for future sales and events.
- Start a bit of savings to begin looking into sponsoring events such as festivals, concerts, and other events in the community.
- Throw a dinner party as a thank you to the donors to let them know that their help is appreciated and will not go unrewarded.
***The use of funds after the tipping point will vary based on what literature, merchandise, and advertising needs we face as well as the amount we are able to raise over our tipping point.
Literature and tee shirts will be sold at local concerts and fundraisers. It is a longer term goal for us to also be speaking in schools and at youth-oriented events. It is also a goal for us to get into Cornerstone, Ichthus, and other large festivals to
spread what we do. We have been in talks with people who are excited to help us do an annual softball tournament as a fundraiser, as well as a local Wendy's who is going to be hosting a fundraising Burger Bash. At these locations and more is where we will
be handing out literature and selling our merchandise.
