Imagine every time you had a great idea for creating or developing a community project, you knew where to turn for guidance.
At
Project Australia, we’re taking the knowledge we’ve gained from working with over
150 community projects, and turning it into an easy-to-follow handbook; your companion for making a difference.
Filled with practical advice, resources and links,
Not for Profit 2.0 will be the first book to outline, step-by-step, everything you need to know in order to successfully start, scale and sustain an Australian not-for-profit project or organisation in today’s digital world.
From our own experience, developing as a successful not-for-profit was a lot harder than it should have been. We stumbled through the process of incorporating our organisation, trialled
three websites before getting it right, and it took us years until we knew how to run a not-for-profit enterprise.
All we really needed was some clear advice from the beginning.
That’s why we’re writing
Not for Profit 2.0; so that everyone who follows in our footsteps will benefit from what we’ve learned. By clarifying a range of issues and making it easy to find what you need, when you need it, our 100-page handbook will enable Australian not-for-profit
projects to avoid common pitfalls and achieve success.
We believe in a brighter future for all Australians. Such a future relies on an integrated, efficient not-for-profit sector that is able to rapidly respond to the multitude of crises we
collectively face.
Please share this campaign as widely as possible and chip in to help us reach our goal to make this book a reality by January 2014.
