FORWARD, has always been about featuring cutting edge, under the radar talent at special unique venues throughout the DC Metro area. This year is no exception, with 3 World Premieres at prestigious venues including The Howard Theatre, The Goethe Institute
and The National Mall.

That's a quote from a long time electronic culture enthusiast responding to his experience at FORWARD 2014 - where he danced with 2nd graders, grand parents, brides...It's a special day when underground culture gets to be presented above ground, for free
in one of our Nation's most important spaces - The National Mall.
The reality is that FORWARD is an underground event, focused on fringe artists/cutting edge talent. To that end, major brands, sponsors aren't interested in supporting us. Our numbers and market simply aren't that appealing to them. In order for us to survive
it's up to you, our community to help ensure that we can still do what we do.
Your financial support makes FORWARD happen. It pays for the generators, police, permits, artists, gear, hotels...
Without that support - we simply can't do it.
