About This Project

feedSpot is a pet food pantry started by a first grade classroom in Northern Illinois. Our goal is to distribute at least 5000lbs of dog food to struggling families in our community who need help feeding their dogs. The students
are writing letters to businesses for support, raising funds through a variety of ways: lemonade stands, ice cream sales, selling homemade dog toys, notecards and duct tape pens. Donation boxes have been placed throughout the community and the kids have been
instrumental in coming up with innovative ways to raise funds.

Use Of Funds

$1,000 Tipping Point Goal

We will use all funds to buy dry dog food. The dog food will be mixed and bagged to be distributed as a supplement to their regular diet. We also need money to buy the thousands of baggies used for bagging the food. Our hope is to raise $1000 through startsomegood
which allow us to buy approximately 2000 pounds of dog food toward our goal. Other fundraisers planned include selling note cards, homemade dog treats, tshirts and doing a 5K walk in the spring.
