At Filanthropik: Threads of Humanity, we are looking to bring the brightness and joy of Guatemalan handcrafted sandals and apparel to the world! We have teamed up with The Wonderment for this campaign to help fund their mobile library that
will bring the world to the children of Guatemala!
*** Each product is handmade by artisans in Guatemala
*** Artisans are paid a fair price to ensure a positive transaction for these true artists
*** The products are marketed and sold throughout the world
*** A portion of the proceeds from each sale is donated to organizations doing work on the ground in Guatemala to alleviate the pains of poverty in the Land of the Eternal Spring
Each pledge will function as a pre-order and you are more than welcome to pledge multiple times for multiple products ;)
***We will contact you through your email to collect sizing information and style (for those who order the colored sandals)
We will be fulfilling orders as they come in as much as long as inventory permits and as soon as we hit out tipping point goal and can be sure that we will be getting the money.
We also invite you to follow us on

The Wonderment: Mobile Library Project
Our friends over at the Wonderment are working to purchase and renovate an old school bus to serve as a mobile library in and around Antigua, Guatemala. The teachers asked for books and supplies to encourage the children's creativity.Ten percent of the money
raised for our crowdfunding campaign will go directly to this project.
The money will be used to:
*** Pay for the bus and necessary maintenance to ensure that it arrives in excellent condition for the children to enjoy.
*** Pay for the renovation of the buses interior to fit the needs of a mobile library complete with reading nooks and creation stations
*** Purchase books for children K-8th grade in English and Spanish as requested by the teachers.
*** Purchase art and creative supplies for the creation stations
*** Ship the bus to the children in Guatemala
