About This Project

Horizonte Ensenada is a church that gives to its community. From helping and housing special needs children to feeding refugees, from freeing young women from the sex trade to helping poor communities in Cambodia and Nicaragua, Horizonte continues to lift burdens and plant hope in other people's lives!

Horizonte also helps other churches. Our talented band has written worship songs and teaches others how to sing and play. Conferences and sermons are recorded so that others can learn the Gospel of Jesus. Our YouTube channel boasts over 22,000 subscribers with videos reaching hundreds of thousands of views. Mexico is watching and Horizonte has the talent. The Mexican economy keeps us from equipment that matches our reach.

We've devised a modest system that can be easily maintained so that the skillful people at Horizonte can make their best work and the church can keep doing what it does best: loving their neighbors and praising God!

Use Of Funds

$6,000 Tipping Point Goal

THE GOAL:

This system is about getting technology out of the way to make the Good News clearer. Many video systems for churches of similar sizes with as many conferences have systems in the $50,000 range. For around 15% of that, we think we can make content just as good without financial burdening the church when replacements are needed. Here's a detailed sketch.
  • Reaching $2,400, we can enhance the clarity of the message with projectors that are appropriate for the size of our sanctuary.
  • Reaching $4,500, we can livestream our services.
  • Reaching $6,500, our services will look amazing with new cameras.
  • And reaching our $8,500 goal, we will have the full set up we need to run conferences and church services with a professionalism that compliments our reach.
