Pick-Me-Up grew from a small, philanthropic effort to pamper women who recently completed chemotherapy with beauty services. This initiative blossomed into the idea for a non-profit organization focused on providing a platform (that makes it okay to ask for a personalized gift that will best lift their spirits, rather than the traditional money to pay for medical bills) to empower people to ask for help. Whether someone is asking for money to pay for brow microblading after chemo treatments or funds to purchase a puppy after losing their family pet, this crowdfunding platform welcomes all individuals who need a pick-me-up. In addition, we raise funds to provide energy-lifting experiences to hand-selected recipients, chosen from our pick-me-up website users crowd-funding their own pick-me-up.
