The Do Good Team needs help to get us on the road!
DO GOOD BUS ORLANDO - FEBRUARY 2, 2013
Our first stop is Orlando on February 2, 2013! We had a blast last summer with all you Floridians and want to bring on some more GOOD. Not to mention, Do Good Bus co-founder, Rebecca Pontius grew up in Orlando -- so she's excited to visit.
[Orlando peeps!]
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE BUS COMES TO YOUR CITY?
The bus will pick up about 30 volunteers and head to a mystery volunteer activity in their community. We'll play games and get to know one another on the bus and then all work together to make a difference.
WHAT KIND OF ACTIVITIES WILL THE VOLUNTEERS PARTICIPATE IN?
Our destination is always a mystery, but we help non-profits and communities with actviities like: gardening, cleaning, building, working with kids, etc.
ARE THERE ANY AGE REQUIREMENTS?
If you're 18+, you're all set! Passengers aged 15 - 17 will need a legal guardian to sign our waiver. Passengers under 15 must be accompianied by an adult.
CHECK OUT SOME OF THE REWARDS
Before you decide which reward you want, make sure you check out what you're getting.
The Giving Keys are one of our favorite
Pay It Forward gifts. Wearing a Giving Key is an opportunity to "gift" someone at any moment with an inspired word engraved on each key. Not to mention you're helping to employ people who are transitioning out of homelessness. Win-win, people.
Clothespin Movement is the brainchild of our summer intern, Julia. Not only does she have great taste in music, she's also on a mission to bring a little sunshine to everyone's
life. Easy to clip on a stranger's bag, back pocket or leave on a co-worker's desk - each clothespin has a positive message to anonymously brighten someone's day.
