Education promotes individual freedom and empowers people to escalate upwards in social and economic status. We as an organization want to bring positive social changes through education.
Pakistan is far from achieving the universal primary enrollment. Low enrollment and rapid population growth has led to a steady decrease in literacy. It is estimated that the number of illiterates has risen from 20 million to 50 million from 1951-1998. Currently
about 55 million Pakistani children ages 10+ cannot read or write and 7 million children ages 5-9 are not enrolled in school. In rural areas 52% of girls are not enrolled in school, and 67% of women are illiterate. Due to the low rates of
literacy and primary education, Pakistan is the lowest ranking position of 125th in the Human Development index (HDI) in the past 20 years.
In Pakistan 73 percent of students attend public or government schools, 26 percent go to private schools.
Impact of the project
This project will give us the opportunity to reach 300 children with high quality education within the first two years and hundreds more as the school progresses.
This opportunity will promote the child’s worth, as they will be provided the quality education, to utilize knowledge and tools necessary to confidently meet challenges and be empowered to reach their potential, as well as become respectful and responsible
citizens for the future.
Project Objectives
The objective is twofold. Firstly; to provide quality education to all students. We will be serving the underprivileged children at a substantially lower or no cost, providing an education which may not be accessible to them otherwise.
Secondly, to make it an income generating project to support the humanitarian work (small projects) among the Bheel (Tribal) people that we currently serve.
*The school will provide volunteer opportunities for foreigners to go as teachers to serve. As we will have a strong focus on
Spoken English.

Bheels.
