A PERMANENT TRAINING SPACE FOR CIRCUS KAMPOT

Circus Kampot has held practice sessions since March 2014 at our home. We practice on the free space downstairs and store our equipment in our kitchen. Now things are evolving and Circus Kampot needs a permanent training space. If we reach our ultimate goal
and are able to build the training hall completely we can:

– Protect ourselves and our students from the strong wind, heavy rains and the blazing sun

– Have classes all year around

– Host shows to get our cause known and to raise funds for the future

– Have a safe and dry place to build and store our equipment

– Raise our student cap from 15 to 100 or more

– Have up to five classes running simultaneously

– Start to teach aerial acrobatics, teeterboard and other more demanding circus disciplines

– Offer teaching grounds and a practice place for international guests

Circus Kampot

VISION

We are to build a proper training space for Circus Kampot and we decided to do it one time and do it so good that the space can serve us and our development for years to come. That is why we are thinking so big straight away. Also building the space big
one time is a lot more efficient and economical than building it in pieces i.e. Building the main hall (A in the plans) first and then adding wings later (B and C in the plan).

Through this training space we have the possibility to practice almost all circus disciplines, host our own and visiting shows for big crowds, practice with bigger groups and multiple divided groups simultaneously, have a dry and safe place to build and
store our equipment, offer our classes to more students, make the venue interesting for visiting artists and teachers and most importantly have our school open through out the year with classes protected from the wind, rain and sun.

Use Of Funds

$9,000 Tipping Point Goal

TIPPING POINT AND ULTIMATE GOAL


Reaching the tipping point $9 000 will assure that we can start building the main hall (part A in the plans). Reaching our ultimate goal of $21 000 will guarantee the building of the whole training space complex with necessary add-ons and
connecting it with required electricity and lights as well as a good ground flooring for acrobatics.


 


HOW YOUR MONEY WILL BE SPENT


8% of every donation goes to Start Something Good and Paypal to get visibility around the net and to transfer the money to our Cambodian account in the end of the campaign.


92% of every donation goes 100% for the construction of Circus Kampot's permanent training space.

All donors get their name on the website and on a plaque on the training space wall. You can also choose to give a company name or a friend's name if the donation is a gift. In addition all donors will receive a
Khmer Kroma scarf and a Circus Kampot pin badge delivered via mail after the campaign is finished. Donors can also choose to help our students on the side with some of our rewards. For
bigger donations we have special rewards available like shows and workshops.
