Care Two Dance is a new social enterprise dance school in Melbourne. When you do a dance class at our school, you will also provide a dance class to a young person in need.
Care Two Dance will directly fund our youth outreach programs being delivered in Australia, South Africa, Cambodia, India, Egypt and Indonesia.
It is said young people are the future of the world, however today more than ever they face a range of challenges. Those living in developing communities are vulnerable to abject poverty, exploitation, HIV mental illness, substance abuse and cultural conflict.
Cultural Infusion runs Mayibuye Performance Troupes and Mayibuye Schools Programs which use performing arts to provide education opportunities for vulnerable and at risk youth. Dance workshops are coupled with structured life skills and mentoring
workshops, ensuring the youth are equipped with the knowledge and skills to lead and promote a healthy lifestyle and create positive change in local communities.
We aim to create generations of young people who believe that a better world is possible and who are empowered and enthusiastic about seeing it happen within their life time.
We are starting a social enterprise dance school in Melbourne. Care Two Dance, which will directly fund our outreach programs by introducing a one for one model. When you come and do a dance class at our school, we will provide a dance class to a young person
in need. That is why we are Care Two Dance because you are caring about yourself and someone else. Care Two Dance will offer high quality dance classes for children and adults, along with our already established Certificate III in Community Dance.
When you enrol in a dance class, you will be given a token allowing you to choose where your donation goes. So, who will you be dancing for?
A young person living in the brothels of India, or who has been orphaned by the Egyptian revolution or is a refugee here in Australia. We have programs in 7 countries supporting amazing young people through the power of dance.
We will have evening classes available for adults in a wide range of cultural dance styles and standards. We will also run a junior school on Saturdays for children and teenagers.
Adults can pay casually, by the term or purchase a membership to access unlimited classes! Discounts are offered for people taking multiple classes on one night.
Students will also have performance opportunities throughout the year along with opportunities to visit our projects around the world.
