We would like to offer you a small trip to Nepal, thanks to Nick Saxon. Watch this great video to learn more.
The story :
A few months ago, a few of us were lucky enough to meet Nima, a truly inspiring and determined
woman sherpina from Nepal. Nima grew up in the mountains herding goats and cattle and never had the luxury of an education. She has started a foundation a few years ago to look after and educate Sherpa children.
The children that Nima cares for, were born in the mountains with no access to education. She created a home for them and enables them to go to an English school in Kathmandu.
Now, for the first time, she would like to take them for a small trip. This trip will broaden the children's horizon. Giving the children access to education and allowing them to live different experiences will help them developping and get ready for a better
life which will be beneficial not only for themselves, but also for their families and community.
We, the members of the association ”Nima’s Children Belgium“ have decided to help Nima fund this excursion, a 3 days and 2 nights trip to Chitwan National Park, a “World Heritage Site” in Nepal which hosts more than 700 species of wildlife and 43 species
of mammals.
The trip is scheduled (funds permitting) for December 2014.
Any donations, no matter how small will bring us closer to the target!!
Let’s help Nima help the children!
