We collect and recycle flowers from donors such as Whole Foods Market and local floral wholesalers. These flowers are then used to support the Canadian Flowers for Food Society non-profit programs. The remainder are offered to the public in exchange for
donations which we collect to fund the Floral Outreach program as well as the Seniors Floral arrangement classes. Our venture will distribute these floral bouquets for sale using bicycle carts throughout the downtown core in the city of Vancouver.
$2,000 Tipping Point Goal
Achieving our tipping point will cover the costs involved in launching one Blooming Flower Bike and its operating expenses for two months. This will allow us to support our other programs such as the Floral Outreach and the Seniors Floral arrangement classes
which are all offered free of charge. Monies will be used to buy and modify bicycles, pay staff members, and coordinate daily operations to implement the Bloomng Flower Bikes in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Our goal is to have four Blooming Flower Bikes in Vancouver,
then expand to other regions across the province.
