The BYA Garden runs a vibrant Summer Youth Internship program in which we hire youth for 8 weeks, 20 hours per week. Because of major budget cuts, we do not have the funding to fully run our summer program, so we are asking for your support in raising this money!

$1,500 Tipping Point Goal
For $1,500 we could hire a garden assistant for 10 hours/week this summer! For additional funds beyond our tipping point: with $2,500 we can send 2 garden youth interns and our Garden manager to the Rooted in Community National Youth & Food Justice Conference in Philadelphia, PA! www.rootedincommunity.org. ( $600 3 round trip plane tix, $155 for youth conference fees $205 for adult conference fees, $185 for food & local travel) For $1,000 , we can provide 100 more hours of paid garden work for Youth Garden Interns.
