Help our young climate activists get trained and ready to make a difference
We are ready to make 2015 a turning point for the climate! We’ve just had the world’s hottest year on record, but the climate movement is stronger than it has ever been before, with record numbers of people across the globe marching in the streets for action
on climate change.
This year, our job is to make sure the coal stays in the Galilee Basin, instead of wrecking the Reef and our climate - so we're taking it to some of Australia's biggest corporations to make sure Abbot Point doesn't go ahead.
Campaigning is hard, we are really passionate and we want to know the best ways to make our message heard. What we need is to make sure our young people who care and are about to be the worst affected by climate change have all the skills necessary to be successful
in our fight to keep our reef and climate safe.

AYCC National Summit - Help us get there
In order to be effective in this fight for climate action we need to attend the National Summit in Sydney. It will give us 3 days with people who know what works and let us meet other young climate activists who are working all across the nation.
* We are trying to keep costs as low as possible... we are taking a bus to Sydney from Brisbane
* $1500 would cover the cost of the bus hire to Sydney
* $3000 would also cover accommodation for our volunteers in Sydney - this would be a huge help to our QLD team.
