About This Project

AWE Conference is an annual event that connects unique, creative, goal- driven female leaders living in Asia. This year's conference will be in Jogja, Indonesia. As this year's theme is "Empowerment in Action", we will talk about diverse ways to make changes
in life.

AWE women are taking action in 4 pillars:

- Potential: Ability to recognize and awaken the potential

- Independence: Acquire and control financial wellbeing

- Freedom: Travel the world and make positive life choices

- Contribution: Give back and pay it forward

We seek to support these women to:

- Grow their professional and personal networks

- Inspire them to fulfill their dreams and potential

- Ask questions and create change

- Travel the world

AWE women are:

- Educated to an undergraduate level, or have professional qualifications

- Creative thinkers with global mindsets

- Active internet and social media users

- Interested in travel and exploring new horizons

- Sometimes limited by their wallet, but not by their imagination

Currently we are having a financial challenge to continue AWE '15. There are several ways to help us host a successful AWE '15.

Here is the breakdown of the major expenses for hosting AWE '15:

Speaker fee $1500USD

Tipping point is less than half of the fund we need, but it will put us into a good position to continue preparing AWE '15. 100% of the money we raised will go directly to organizing AWE '15: speaker and staff fee, meals, content development, printing, etc.


 


Ultimate goal


Once we reach the Ultimate goal, we'll be able to support a few people to attend AWE '15 free of charge. They will be selected from applications.
