American Legacy Education, Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit located in Palm Beach County, Florida, envisions a future where all children grow up to be active citizens and
leaders in their communities, states and the nation. All of our decisions are guided by Fundamental Democratic Beliefs and our love for children and America. Please see our beliefs here.
OUR TEAM
We are governed by a board made up of non-profit leaders, educators and attorneys. We are also led by an executive director who has more than 15 years of education experience and has served as a school Principal for the last seven years. Please see a description of our non-profit leadership here.
OUR PROJECT
To accomplish our vision, we intend to open American Legacy Charter School in Palm Beach County, Florida. American Legacy Charter School will prepare a diverse group of students with the knowledge and skills to be active citizens and leaders in America by teaching leadership, core curriculum, citizenship, critical thinking, communications, history, civic action and community service.
At The American Legacy Charter School...
Students will learn how to:
- Participate in Debates & Socratic Seminars
- Deliver Persuasive Presentations
- Plan and Deliver Strong Speeches/Public Speaking & Presentation of all Types
- Develop Public Service Announcements
- Lead or participate in Election/Bill Campaigns
- Prepare Commercials, Flyers, and other Media for Election/Bill Campaigns
- Write Letters to Elected Officials
- Lead Community Service Projects
Students will experience:
- A Curriculum Rich in American History
- Mock Court
- Student Assembly

- Mock Legislative Hearings
- Basic Project Management
- Delegations to Local, State and National Organizations

WHY IT MATTERS
American Legacy Charter School will have a lasting impact on the students that attend the school and the communities in which they live. Our curriculum will ensure students attain the Florida Standards while being immersed in the history and culture of America. Our educational program will guarantee students learn how to think critically about the media they see and hear and how to effectively communicate their own ideas. Our focus on citizenship and leadership will ensure students know how to effectively participate at all levels of government, how to act on matters important to them and how to make their community better through community service.
