Imagine what people of the Bahama's recently experienced... Bearing the loss of a home, things of sentimental value, and sadly, loss of loved one's. We can't begin to fathom. But more importantly, a coral-based archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean with 700-plus islands, no water, food, or communication.
After the Hurricane devastation in 2017 that hit both Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, we saw the importance of developing an efficient, dependable, responsive wireless communications solution to address evolving mobile and wireless service requirements. World economies significantly benefit from Wi-Fi every year. By 2023 that value should grow to $3.47 trillion. Currently many Americans do not have access to internet services. Our Wireless fiber will provide an important economic value to an under-privileged territory.
Today, wired infrastructure in Puerto Rico is still destroyed. Replacing it is hard and expensive. Poles that held wires providing internet services and telephone we're snapped. Even though crews are replacing poles where power lines run, and hard-wired phone lines live, it costs more than $22,000 per-mile to also restring fiber.

Easy, Simple, Reliable
We’re expanding the boundaries of wireless technology in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. 5G and our wireless "Tru-Verse fiber" will provide a major standard beyond what we know across a diverse mobile communication industry within these regions. To meet the expanding global connectivity needs in the next decade and beyond, VI Mobility will deploy a new scalable OFDM-based 5G capable interface. We are delivering (OFDM) Orthogonal Frequency-division Multiplexing-based wave forms and multiple access optimized for different use cases. The flexible framework is also designed to efficiently multiplex 5G services and features with built-in forward compatibility. VI Mobility will be a market trend leader and here is why. We will be the only wireless carrier in the territory providing Wi-Fi hotspots, wireless calling, Tru-Verse fiber internet, and 5G mobile services.
But this is not just about entering a disaster prone territory and building an advanced future generation wireless mobile network that will be sustainable, cost-effective, and ready to withstand the harsh conditions. This is about bringing a territory that is a part of America up to a technological standard. Even more, we want mainland Americans to have reliable, fast, communication services, and won't fear being left vulnerable to losing contact with loved one's and friends. Most importantly, emergency response agencies including public safety and broadcast stations would have effective communication with the outside world and carry out their disaster plans in the event of a similar natural event.
How will people benefit from 5G-ready mobile transport?
Keeping pace with demand for ultra broadband (UBB) and Internet of Things (IoT) capabilities with continuous upgrades.
- Take advantage of licensed and unlicensed spectrum, new radio and packet core architectures, and densification with small cells.
- Deliver an expanded range of tailored services for IoT, video, and converged access
- Prepare for future technology while offering 5G to create additional opportunities for individuals and businesses.
These advances are increasing demand for ”Anyhaul” connectivity, including fronthaul, backhaul, and backbone network applications. VI Mobility’s solutions will ease the pressure on our transport network by allowing us to:
- Reach more sites, deliver more traffic, and meet the stringent latency requirements of centralized and cloud RANs
- Support advanced mobile and wireless applications with widely varying service characteristics and use cases
- Support cloud-native packet core solutions and software-defined networking (SDN)
- Meet increasing expectations relative to quality, reliability, and security.
Our networking solutions will be efficient, dependable, responsive, and purpose-built for wireless applications and mobile. Our network will address evolving mobile and wireless service requirements – today and in the future
All things to all people, everything mobile for everyone
It takes a community to come together. U.S. Virgin Islanders and Puerto Ricans are vibrant people. They are proud caring Americans, and rose to the occasion when it mattered. By partnering with Government agencies in providing critical internet, and communications in schools with limited services for free, and getting involved in community programs to help foster positive improvements with a pointed interest on youths. VI Mobility will create initiatives that teaches and educates locals interested in telecommunications. By building relationships, forming strong bonds, and employing a 99% local workforce, our commitment to community development and contributing towards economic growth in the territory is just a fraction of the social responsibility we implement at the onset.
Be a part of something amazing
We're proud to help shape a community with our innovations. Bringing communicative stability and multilevel wireless experiences. Become part of steering the "Next Gen" of technology into deserving communities. Let's build together, Connect with what inspires us to change wireless in more places others won't. Building a stronger, far reaching, reliable network that will change the way people work, live, and imagine.

The first phase project goal which, is our wireless fiber Wi-Fi hot spot and internet is already funded, $350,000. We are calling on your help to raise the final $46,000 for the island wide survey (feasibility study), our second phase 5G mobile network build-out. This survey will determine what will be required as far as equipment, tower locations, microwave dish point-to-point solutions, locations, and exact network completion cost. When this initial study is final, we'll be able to acquire or lease necessary land for building at least one cellphone tower, plus, seek more financing for expansion.
