On September 20th, Reed and Mike will embark on a 100-mile biking journey across the state of Massachusetts to raise funds for the Northampton Exercise Club and bring awareness to the issue of homelessness. The trip will begin at Veterans' Park after a usual
Friday morning with the Noho Exercise Club. Participants, volunteers and media will send the guys off on their venture around noon. They will ride ~75 miles on Friday and stay the night in Hopkinton, Mass. On Saturday morning, the boys will ride the 26-mile
Boston Marathon route into the city of Boston, where they will complete their ride. Throughout the adventure, a car of Noho Exercise Club e-board members will be providing Reed and Mike with food, drinks and moral support. We will also be sure to stop for
periodic social media updates, shout-outs and video cameos.
$1,500 Tipping Point Goal
A small portion of the funds raised through this campaign will cover the costs of completing this ride including drinks and food for the riders, as well as gas for the support car. The remaining proceeds will all support the Northampton Exercise Club. Hitting
our tipping point of $1,500 will allow us to purchase club apparel (hoodies, t-shirts, polo's and shoes) for a dozen club members. Furthermore, the funds will allow us to provide members with healthy snacks and drinks for the semester. Reaching our final goal
of $2,500 would make it possible for us to start another club location in the local area. We have goals of expanding to several more locations, so getting to that final goal will be pivotal to our club's expansion and success.
Remember, anything helps and your support is truly appreciated by all of us: from the participants to our entire staff.
